Becky is the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Department and Speech and Hearing Science. She serves as assistant to the Chair of the Graduate Studies Committee. She is responsible for maintaining graduate student records from the beginning of the application process (using Student Information System (SIS) and the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Science and Disorders (CSDCAS) applicant portal through graduation. She responds to inquiries from applicants concerning admission procedures, advises current graduate students’ concerning department and university policies, procedures and deadlines. She serves as liaison between the Graduate School, Graduate Admissions Office, Graduate Studies Committee and graduate students. Becky organizes the Graduate Student Orientation for Incoming Students, Admitted Student Open House, Prospective Student Open House and Fellowship Nominee visit. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in linguistics and in Spanish from the University of Kentucky, and her Masters in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa.
