Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

2011 - November Open House

Each year prospective applicants to our graduate program contact us to schedule individual visits to our department.  Although we can generally accommodate an individual request, the visits are often not optimal because the applicant only gets to visit with one or two faculty members.  In an attempt to make your visit more successful, we have scheduled a group visit date this year, so that interested applicants have the opportunity to visit our department, tour our facility, and talk with faculty, supervisors, and current graduate students.

We will hold two sessions on Wednesday, November 23, 2011
(the day before Thanksgiving)

9:00-10:30 a.m.
10:30 to 12:00 noon

Each session will begin in Room 35 Pressey Hall with a general information/question answer session followed by a tour of the facilities.

We welcome all visitors who have an interest in our graduate programs in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Speech and Hearing Science.  Family and friends are cordially invited to attend with the prospective student.  No reservations are required, but if you plan to attend, we request that you inform our Graduate Program Coordinator, Vicki Back, at back.3@osu.edu.

If you need driving directions to Pressey Hall, please visit http://maps.google.com/ and use 1070 Carmack Road as the “end address”.  When you arrive on campus, you should park in the West Campus Carmack Road parking area, where you will find Pay-N-Display Parking Machines for your convenience.  Park in any non-restricted “A”, “B”, or “C” space and then purchase your ticket.  This ensures there is a space available before the fee is paid.  After you park and pay the fee, use the walk bridge to cross Carmack Road to get to Pressey Hall.
