Nicole Viola, a 2nd year PhD student in our Department, was awarded a Summer Graduate Award through the OSU Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS). Nicole will be working on a project with her advisor, Dr. Jenny Lundine, and Dr. Julianna Nemeth (OSU College of Public Health). The goal of this study is to assess executive function and history of brain injury for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. Next steps include developing an appropriate intervention to pair with evidence-based smoking cessation to account for executive function deficits. Congratulations, Nicole! We are excited to see what you learn!
