Students and faculty participated in the Ohio Science Olympiad STEM Expo on Saturday, April 18. This event showcases Ohio State departments and programs for attendees at the Olympiad. Speech and Hearing Science offered interactive demos, challenges, and contests displaying the many areas of speech-language pathology and audiology, including cochlear implants and hearing aids, vestibular function, swallowing, and AAC use. Participants included Dr. Jan Weisenberger, AuD student Aryn Robinson, MA/SLP students Calyn Evans and Taylor Erslan, and undergraduate students Kendra Hosack, Mia Strohecker, Lindsey Call, and Ifrah Mohamed. It was a great way to acquaint middle and high school students and their families about our work!
