MA/PhD and AuD students from our department identified a need and initiated a connection with the Columbus Asian Festival within the Health Education area. MA/PhD and AUD students interacted with and educated the public about our services and provided referrals to our clinic. This initiative was led by Jessica Timog (MA/PhD student). Natalie Freitag (MA/PhD), Aryn Robinson (AUD), and Bre Ortiz (AUD) also participated. Jess hopes to expand this opportunity for community outreach next year.
