Journie Dickerson was selected to receive the Research Mentoring-Pair Travel Award from ASHA this year. It is a great program that will help support her travel to the convention where she will be presenting research funded by CCBS titled, “Associations Between Family Environment and Neurocognitive Development in Infancy.” Additionally, she will be mentored by Dr. Jennifer Zuk from Boston University about various aspects of research before, during, and after the convention. The program is also dovetailing with a pediatric clinical trials symposium at ASHA, which is relevant to Journie’s goals.
