Ali Ellithorpe, AuD Class of 2018, Named OAA Northwestern Regional Liaison
Ali Ellithorpe is an audiologist in Toledo, Ohio. She currently works for ProMedica Audiology, a division of ProMedica Physicians Ear, Nose and Throat. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University in 2013. She then attended The Ohio State University and obtained her Doctorate of Audiology in 2018. She completed her 4th year clinical externship with ProMedica Audiology, in 2017-2018, where she is currently employed. While in graduate school, she served one year as the Student Academy of Audiology Vice President and was a student liaison for the Ohio Academy of Audiology. Clinically, she provides diagnostic and amplification services across the lifespan, but has a special interest in pediatrics.
Alicia Gonzalez, AuD Class of 2022, Named OAA Scholarship Chair
Alicia Gonzalez, AuD is a pediatric audiologist and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Her clinical and research interests include: reducing healthcare disparities, increasing diversity within the profession, interprofessional practice, early identification/intervention, and pediatric amplification. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from The Ohio State University in May 2022 and completed her fourth year externship at the Cleveland Clinic. During her time at Ohio State, Alicia was on the OSU SAA executive board (2019-2021) and was a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) trainee (2020-2021). She is honored to have received the Jerry Northern Scholarship in Pediatric Audiology from the American Academy of Audiology Foundation in August 2021.
