Stephanie holds a B.S. in Health Sciences and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Misericordia University. Before beginning her Ph.D., she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a private school serving children with medically complex and special needs. She has also gained clinical experience in outpatient and public-school settings, working with children and families across a variety of environments.
Stephanie is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science at The Ohio State University. Her research interests center on finding effective ways to support children with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in school settings. She is particularly interested in exploring different treatment approaches and understanding how specific interventions can influence recovery, communication, participation, and quality of life. Through her research, Stephanie hopes to help advance evidence-based practices that improve outcomes for children with TBI and provide meaningful support to the families and professionals who work with them.
Outside of her academic and clinical work, Stephanie enjoys staying active, reading, traveling, and exploring new places.
