Business Communication and Accent Management

Effective communication skills foster success in the workplace.  Any difficulty employees have with speaking or presentation skills may affect the job performance.  Speech training for Business Communication at this Clinic is designed to coach employees to become successful communicators in the workplace. Topics include clear articulation, voice use and projection, improved presentation style, and speaking rate.

People who are nonnative speakers of English may desire speech training to enhance their communication with others. Challenges with pronunciation (consonant and vowel production), sentence intonation, varied meanings, cultural nuances, and comprehension are typical areas addressed. Accent Management services at this Clinic are for clients who have a strong working knowledge of American English and want to improve their pronunciation and overall communication with others.
