The Department of Speech and Hearing Science welcomed four prospective graduate students as part of OSUs Graduate/Professional Student Recruitment Initiative (GPS) on October 31. The annual event, coordinated by the Office of Diversity of Inclusion in collaboration with the Graduate School, professional colleges, and academic units, hosted over 80 students from across the country with interests in attending graduate school at OSU.
The four students who visited our department came from West Texas A&M University, Middle Tennessee University, University of Cincinnati, and OSU. They enjoyed an eventful day which included touring Pressey Hall, observing in the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, attending Dr. Holt’s Pediatric Audiology class, and having lunch with current audiology and MA-SLP students. The day ended with the GPS Banquet in the Blackwell.
