Jodi Baxter earned her BA in Sociology and Au.D. from The Ohio State University in 2011. After graduating from OSU, she lived and practiced as a clinical and research audiologist in the Baltimore and DC area before returning to Columbus and Ohio State. Dr. Baxter primarily practices clinically while supervising students and also teaches as part of the Doctor of Audiology curriculum. Current courses taught include Hearing Aids I and II and Adult Hearing Disorders. Dr. Baxter serves on the American Academy of Audiology Government Relations Committee and is the co-lead for the Specialized Intensive Auditory Revitalization Conference at OSU. Dr. Baxter’s interests include the latest advancements in hearing technology, aural rehabilitation, working with the geriatric population, professional advocacy, and clinical education.
