Christina received a B.A. and M.A. in Communicative Disorders from California State University Long Beach, and a Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Christina worked as a Research Audiologist at the Martinez VA Out-Patient-Clinic in Martinez, CA, coordinating amplification research. She joined Ohio State University in 2004 and is the director of the Speech Recognition and Aging Laboratory. Christina’s research program investigates the assessment and management of suprathreshold auditory processing deficits in older adults, adults with a history of acquired brain injury, and adults with functional hearing difficulties, yet normal pure-tone hearing. She teaches courses on basic audiology and adult audiologic rehabilitation. Christina is a past-president of the Ohio Academy of Audiology and an ASHA Fellow.
