This summer, the OSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic partnered with speech-language pathologist, Karen Carver, and Therapy Strides, to launch an innovative pilot program for children. The 20-hour summer camp experience took place at Benson Oaks Farm in Blacklick, Ohio, and featured nature and horses as therapy tools. Each child received both individualized and group therapy from licensed SLPs and MA-SLP graduate students under the supervision of clinical instructor, Nadine Whiteman.
