Jennifer Brello - Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Speech-Language Pathology
Jennifer Brello, MEd., CCC-CLP was elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Speech-Language Pathology. NAP is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 to advise governmental bodies on our healthcare system. Distinguished practitioners and scholars are elected by their peers from multiple different health professions to join the only interprofessional group of healthcare practitioners and scholars dedicated to supporting affordable, accessible, coordinated quality healthcare for all. NAP firmly believes that close collaboration and coordination of different healthcare professions, aligned through a common vision, can advocate for patients and model excellence in interprofessional and preventive care.
Bridget Chapman - Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association Award Winner
Bridget A. Chapman, M.A. CCC-SLP, Clinical Assistant Professor, was awarded the Nancy Bailey Award of Appreciation by the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association for 2022. Prof. Chapman previously served as the Co-director for University Affairs/Clinical Education and was responsible for a number of initiatives and events to support faculty and students from 2020-2022. Congratulations Prof. Chapman!

Rachael Frush Holt, Professor, gave the invited, annual Dr. Diane Kewley-Port Mentored Lecture at Indiana University on April 28. The title of her talk was, “Family-related contributions to language in oral deaf and hard-of-hearing children.”
