Caitlin Cummings Awarded a Graduate Student Scholarship from the ASHFoundation

Caitlin Cummings a speech-language pathologist and PhD candidate was awarded a Graduate Student Scholarship from the ASHFoundation. This award is given to up to 15 exceptional graduate students each year. Ms. Cummings is a bilingual English-Spanish speech-pathologist whose dissertation research will advance understanding of speech development in children with craniofacial syndromes related to cleft lip and palate.  Her program of research includes the development of assessment techniques appropriate for children whose first language is Spanish.
