Dr. Jennifer Lundine Receives Outstanding Teaching Award

Dr. Lundine

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council has selected Dr. Jennifer Lundine to receive the 2021 – 2022 College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award. This recognition is particularly notable because it is the only teaching award that is completely administered by students in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University.

This year, Student Council received approximately 160 nominations for this award. From those nominations, Student Council selected several finalists for further consideration. This included a review of CVs and SEI scores, interviews, and classroom visits to experience their teaching first-hand. After careful consideration of all finalists, members of Student Council selected Dr. Lundine as the recipient of this year’s Outstanding Teaching Award.

As Vice President of Student Council, Henry Schmulewitz was charged with overseeing this process and the President of Student Council, Morgan Taradash, had the honor of visiting Dr. Lundine’s class to announce the award.

Dr. Lundine will be recognized at the College of Arts and Sciences Spring Recognition Reception to be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Lounge of the Faculty Club. A reception will follow where she will receive a plaque.

Congratulations, Dr. Lundine on this very well deserved honor!
