M.A./Ph.D. student receives award from ANCDS

Deena Schwen

Deena Schwen received a 2014 conference fellowship to the annual meeting of the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders & Sciences (ANCDS) to be held on November 19th, 2014, and a 1-year ANCDS membership for 2015.  Her application was one of ten selected, out of a total of 41 submissions.  She has been paired with a mentor, Ms. Edna Babbit, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, BC-ANCDS, a research Speech-Language Pathologist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s Center for Aphasia and Treatment.
