We are delighted to share that Dr. Kantarcigil, along with our MS SLP students, Maria Di Meglio and Melike Baspinar, recently participated in the Parkinson's IQ + You event organized by the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This event aims to empower individuals with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers by providing valuable insights, the latest research updates, and connections to local resources.

Over 450 patients with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners participated in this event. Our Deglutition Technologies and Digital Health (DegluTech) Lab, along with the Swallowing Clinic and Support Group at OSU, participated in this outreach event. During the event, we had the opportunity to engage with more than 300 attendees, sharing information about our cutting-edge swallowing research lab and clinic at The Ohio State University. We are committed to advancing knowledge and support for those affected by swallowing disorders and look forward to future opportunities to connect with our community.
