Speech and Hearing Science Professor Receives Career Award

Stacy Harnish, assistant professor, speech and hearing science, was awarded an Advancing Academic-Research Careers (AARC) Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  This award is given to no more than 10 junior faculty members nationwide, and furthers mentorship in teaching (mentor, Eric Healy) and research (mentor, Christopher Bartlett).  Dr. Harnish's work seeks to remedy the language difficulties that commonly result from brain damage following stroke.
