Izabela graduated with honors research distinction from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science and minors in Psychology and History. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science. Her research interests focus on the effects of family dynamics and early intervention on the spoken language and neurocognitive development of children with hearing loss who use hearing aids and cochlear implants.
